ABOUT REVIVA — THE PREMISE

Every yacht arrives carrying two things. What she was drawn to be, and what the years have made of her. A refit is the argument between them and someone has to take a side.

SHE COMES IN LIKE THIS
AND THEN SHE GOES UNDER OUR HANDS Everything after this is a decision.
THE WORD ITSELF
THREE WORDS · NOT SYNONYMS

Everyone says refit. Almost nobody means it.

Repair

N. MAINTENANCE

Returns a yacht to working order. It answers the question: what broke?

Restoration

N. ARCHAEOLOGY

Returns her to the day she launched. It answers: what was she?

Refit

N. AUTHORSHIP

Asks the only question with a future in it: what should she be now?

OUR POSITION

Only one of those three is a design question. That is the one we take.

HOW WE WORK

Every yacht is hiding something. Our job is to find it before the sea does.

A PROMISE ABOUT TIME
STAGE ONE

Imagine & Survey

ENDS WITH

A written condition report, a scope you approved, and a price that does not move.

Side deck, looking forward
THE YARD AS AN INSTRUMENT

A shed is not a boast. It is a shorter distance.

Joinery, metalwork, upholstery, coatings, electrics and systems all sit within a few minutes' walk of the berth. That is not a list of assets — it is the reason a question asked at nine is answered by eleven, and the reason no part of your yacht is ever waiting on somebody else's queue.

JOINERY METALWORK UPHOLSTERY COATINGS ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS & AUTOMATION NAVAL ARCHITECTURE INTERIOR DESIGN
AUDITED, NOT ASSERTED

Someone else checks our work.

A yard can claim any standard it likes. The only ones worth quoting are the ones an outside body can withdraw. Our management systems are certified and re-audited on a fixed cycle, our hulls are built and surveyed to class, and the yard answers to the same institutions as the shipyards we are measured against.

ISO 9001
QUALITY MANAGEMENT

How work is planned, checked and signed off — the reason two refits run the same way.

ISO 14001
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

What we do with what comes off a yacht: coatings, solvents, resin, waste and water.

ISO 45001
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY

The standard the sheds are run to. Nobody's season is worth somebody's hand.
