Reviva Refit is excited to share the successful completion of a comprehensive one-month refit of M/Y Hayat, a distinguished 22.25-meter motor yacht originally built by Sunseeker in 2009. This intensive project was carried out at our Tuzla facilities during a focused period in the spring of 2024, enhancing both the yacht’s performance and safety to meet the highest standards of modern yachting.
Focused Enhancements for Optimal Performance
The refit of M/Y Hayat covered extensive engine and mechanical maintenance, ensuring all systems operate at peak efficiency. The main engines received thorough servicing, including detailed attention to injector repairs which addressed and fixed issues with both starboard and port main engine injectors. Generator control panels were meticulously checked to ensure their reliability under all operational conditions.
Advancements in Safety and Navigation
In keeping with our commitment to safety and precision, the yacht’s fire extinguishers were completely renewed and updated. Navigation systems saw significant upgrades with updated maps and fully functional navigation lights, ensuring that M/Y Hayat is equipped to navigate safely in all conditions.
Plumbing and Electrical Overhauls
Our team also undertook critical updates to the plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing old batteries with new ones for enhanced power reliability. The bilge pumps and seawater intake systems were serviced to ensure effective water management onboard.
Hull and Underwater Gear Maintenance
To protect against the harsh marine environment, the hull received a new coat of silicone-based antifouling paint. Zinc anodes were replaced to combat corrosion, and a thorough check of shafts, propellers, and seals was conducted to maintain the integrity of these crucial components.
Comprehensive Maintenance Across All Systems
Additional attention was given to the aft platform piston and the black water tank, ensuring proper functionality and hygiene. The windlass was maintained to guarantee smooth operation, and a comprehensive check of the fire system was performed to uphold stringent safety standards.
