Reviva Refit Completes the Refit of 60m Grand Rusalina Yacht

Reviva Refit, the esteemed yacht refit brand of Mengi Yay, is proud to announce the successful re-launch of the Grand Rusalina. After an extensive six-month refit period during the winter, which included 4.5 months in dry dock at our Tuzla location, this majestic vessel has been meticulously upgraded to blend unmatched performance enhancements with luxurious aesthetic improvements.

Detailed Overhaul for Peak Performance

The technical and mechanical enhancements were particularly comprehensive. Key highlights included the complete service of the yacht’s propulsion and thrusters—dismantling, cleaning, testing, and reinstalling the main propellers and stern thrusters with a new prop speed coating for optimal performance. The cooling systems received a thorough chemical cleaning and pressure testing, and coolants were replaced to ensure efficient engine cooling. Additionally, critical reliability checks such as shaft and bearing inspections were performed to ensure smooth operation.

Exquisite Aesthetic Enhancements

The Grand Rusalina’s visual allure was significantly enhanced through precision touch-up painting and mechanical polishing of the hull and superstructure. The interior wasn’t left behind; old upholstery in the cabins was replaced with new, high-quality materials approved by the owner, and key appliances were serviced or replaced, including washing and drying machines. This ensures both the functionality and comfort expected in such a luxurious setting.

Safety and Compliance as a Priority

Safety standards were rigorously upheld with detailed rudder inspections and clearance measurements of the rudder stock and bearings. These were dismantled, inspected, and tested to meet the stringent requirements of Lloyd’s Register. Moreover, comprehensive documentation and reporting were prepared in English, complete with photos and drawings for the owner’s representatives and relevant surveyors, guaranteeing transparency and adherence to the highest quality standards.
