Mirabella arrived in Tuzla in mid-September 2025 and was hauled out in early October. Paint, electrical and electronic systems, interior joinery and structural work on the transom all ran inside the same winter — against a redelivery date of 15 July 2026 fixed at contract signature and held to.
Rob Dolling of Verpeka Dolling Superyachts acted throughout as Owner's Representative and Owner's Technical Manager, carrying responsibility for quality, technical integrity and the date. R15 is the fifteenth major refit the yard has taken on since 2017, and among the widest in scope.
Hull and superstructure were stripped and fully repainted in climate-controlled conditions — the single change that resets how a twenty-two-year-old hull reads on the water.
New railings, new entrance glass, an engraved family crest and a redrawn name and logo were produced and fitted in-house, so the details match the new finish rather than survive it.
Hull and superstructure were stripped and fully repainted in climate-controlled conditions — the change that resets how a 2004 aluminium hull reads on the water. In the same programme the transom area was structurally revised to take an integrated transformer at the swim platform, with a dedicated watertight chamber built to house it.
The electrical and electronic infrastructure was substantially renewed — audio-visual systems, bridge electronics, and a complete rethink of interior lighting alongside significantly enhanced exterior deck lighting. Mechanical work ran in parallel: stabiliser overhaul, main engine maintenance and replacement of the generator exhaust outlet scoop.
Twenty-two years of sun, salt and humidity had dulled the varnished joinery to a cloudy haze. The affected veneers were taken back to bare wood, sanded, and re-finished in a new walnut — chocolate tone under controlled conditions: a deliberately labour-intensive route chosen to preserve the character of Scott Carpenter's original interior rather than mask it.
The most visible changes are on deck. A bespoke Jacuzzi was installed on a redesigned sundeck, new exterior seating areas were created across all decks, and exterior marble was replaced with a teak border. Teak renewals ran across the yacht, so the surfaces underfoot match the standard of the repaint above them.
“You can judge a yard by what it takes on in one winter. R15 asked for paint, systems, joinery and structural work at once, to a date we had committed to, and our people carried all four across the line together. Mirabella left Tuzla genuinely transformed — that is why Reviva exists.”
“The scope on Mirabella touched almost every technical discipline onboard simultaneously. Mengi Yay's direct access to specialised trade resources — from marine electrical and mechanical teams to interior joiners — allowed us to address a wide range of complex works within a single winter period.”
She accommodates eleven guests across five staterooms — four with king berths, one twin with a Pullman — and carries a crew of nine. Mirabella now returns to the Mediterranean.
