Duration: Over a 6-month period during the winter, including 4.5 months in dry dock, our team executed an extensive refit to enhance both performance and aesthetics.

Key Services Provided:

  1. Technical and Mechanical Refitting:
    • Propulsion and Thrusters: Service included dismantling, cleaning, testing, and re-installing main propellers and stern thrusters. Prop speed coating was applied for optimal performance.
    • Cooling Systems: Keel coolers were chemically cleaned, pressure tested, and coolant was replaced, ensuring efficient engine cooling.
    • Shaft and Bearing Checks: Main propeller shafts were inspected for cracks and alignment, ensuring reliability and smooth operation.
  2. Painting and Surface Treatments:
    • Hull and Superstructure: Touch-up painting and mechanical polishing of the propeller blades were performed to improve both appearance and performance.
  3. Plumbing and Waterproofing:
    • Valves and Pumps: Installation and replacement of non-return valves, sea water intake valves, and freshwater ball valves to ensure robust plumbing systems.
  4. Interior Upgrades:
    • Appliance Servicing: Comprehensive service of washing and drying machines, including replacement of essential components.
    • Upholstery Replacement: In cabins, old upholstery was replaced with new, high-quality materials approved by the owner.
  5. Safety and Compliance Inspections:
    • Rudder Inspections: Both starboard and portside rudders were dismantled, inspected, and tested to meet safety standards.
    • Clearance Measurements: Detailed inspections and measurements of rudder stock and bearings were conducted to ensure operational integrity.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Detailed reports in English, including photos and drawings, were prepared for the owner’s representative and relevant surveyors, ensuring transparency and adherence to quality standards.
  7. Conclusion:
    • This refit session focused on thorough technical upgrades, aesthetic enhancements, and ensuring the yacht’s compliance with safety standards. Our goal was to prepare the yacht for a new season of reliable and luxurious sailing.
